Social dynamics in an agent-based simulation
Analysing relationships and survival dynamics in a constructed social environment.
Conceptual illustration; not an experimental result.
Research question
How do individual agent attributes and repeated interactions shape the dynamics of a simulated social group? The Love Island Simulator provides a constructed environment for examining this question.
Methodology
Agents combine personality attributes, emotional states and stochastic social actions. Repeated simulated worlds produce relationship and survival trajectories, analysed using regression and other statistical methods.
Findings
The report identifies associations between agent attributes, relationship dynamics and simulated survival. An ordinary least-squares model explains approximately 56% of the variance in survival time within the generated data.
Limitations
These findings describe the simulator and its assumptions. They are not empirical evidence about human relationships or predictors of real-world social success.
